Meta Tag Overview

What are meta tags? They are information inserted into the "head" area of your web pages.

Description

The Description can be used for a summary of the document, or your website. This is used by some search engines to describe your document.
The Search Engine will read the description tag of the web site and will check if the keywords or search terms match your title tag and content of the site.
